About us

Castleford Management was set up in 1990 as an independent property management company, specialising in the management and maintenance of blocks of flats in the Dorset and Hampshire area. Castleford’s offices were based in the centre of Poole. When the owner of Castleford Management retired in 2012, the company was purchased by Qdime Limited, a successful property management business whose headquarters are based in Buckinghamshire.

When purchasing Castleford Management, Qdime Limited wanted to retain the strength of Castleford being a local property management company, but also saw opportunities to improve some of the support services by providing them centrally, in a way that would also provide value for money to customers.

The actual Property Management service is still based locally in Poole, but other support functions are based centrally, and provide support to the whole of the Qdime Group. But as all Qdime companies share a group telephone system, it’s easy to get hold of the right person by telephoning a local rate telephone number or by email.

We are innovative and pro-active, with a sprinkling of originality but we still listen to our clients’ needs, looking for those ‘attention to detail’ items that can enhance our service and add value.

We are committed to establishing The Qdime Group of companies as an innovative, successful and profitable provider of support services to the private residential property sector. We are not motivated by the size of the group, for us it’s all about how we provide the best communication and service, how we obtain best value for money and how we excite customers by proactively managing their homes.

Nick joined Castleford in January 2016, having worked in the housing association sector for 15 years. He is a chartered surveyor and a full member of the IRPM. He lives in Corfe Mullen.

Martyn joined Castleford in 2001, having worked in the residential property sector for over 30 years, much of the time in the Dorset and Hampshire area. He lives in Wimborne.

Deborah Kerr

Property Manager

 

 

Deborah has worked for Castleford since 2003. Originally a Property Administrator, Deborah was promoted to Property Manager in 2017. Deborah lives in Poole.

Paul Oswick

Paul joined Castleford in 2018 bringing over 6 years experience working within Block and Estate Property Management. Paul is originally from Kew Gardens  and now resides in the New Forest and enjoys country walks and mountain biking. 

Tim Richards

Tim joined Castleford in 2018 bringing 11 years of experience working in Lettings and Property Management. Tim lives in Poole and has a good knowledge of the area. He enjoys the outdoors and has a passion for mountain biking.

Emma Barton

Property Manager

Emma joined Castleford in 2018 bringing over 5 years of experience working within the Block and Property Management Industry. Emma lives locally and has a good knowledge of the area. She enjoys adventuring out into the New Forest with her family on the weekends and winding down with a good book at the end of the day.

The Qdime Group consists of a growing number of companies, specialising in residential property. We have three firms of managing agents, a maintenance division, a professional services company and a firm of solicitors. We have offices in Poole, Bristol, Letchworth and our head office in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire. We operate throughout the South of England and South Wales, from Ipswich to Eastbourne and from Broadstairs to Swansea.

The aim of the Group is to be a one-stop shop for all residential property matters, but with individual specialist companies who can support each other.

We expect our staff to perform at a very high level, and provide support and training to enable them to reach the required standard.

Working for us you will be working towards an NVQ level 2/3 in any discipline; you will have the opportunity to work across all departments. Whether you want to be part of the team in the office, or want to work out in the field with trades, come and develop your career with us.

This is a fabulous opportunity for young people who want to kick start their career. Full training will be given.
